Cloud increasing in southern counties with outbreaks of rain edging in there overnight. Areas of mist and fog too, especially inland. Lowest temperatures of 6 to 10 degrees with light easterly winds.

Tomorrow

Mostly cloudy across southern counties tomorrow, Tuesday with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle, giving way to showers towards evening. Sunnier breaks developing further north with scattered showers, some heavy with isolated thunderstorms across the midlands and west. Cloudier for a time in the north with patchy rain and drizzle there. Highest temperatures of 13 to 18 degrees, best values where sunny breaks occur in light to moderate east or northeast winds, fresher along southern coasts in the morning.
